SUMMER TRIPS
We offer a unique experience combining volunteering, culture and relaxation in Colombia. One trip is probably not enough to discover all that this South American country has to offer. We will try to get to the heart of Colombia by interacting with its diverse communities, from the city of Medellín to the villages nestled in the green mountains. We will start by visiting the iconic sites of eastern Antioquia, before spending a few days unwinding on the Caribbean coast or in the warm western region, depending on the dates. We will spend our days volunteering in newly established youth centres and on missions in villages hit hardest by past guerrilla warfare. We will meet people who have lost everything - their jobs, homes, families and friends - yet have decided to rebuild their lives, moving forward with their heads held high. These are people who have not give up; people who have started again: people who love life and do not want to give it up.
