SUMMER TRIPS
We offer an experience in Colombia combining volunteering, culture, and relaxation. A single trip to Colombia is probably not enough to discover the thousand facets of this South American country. We will try to reach the true soul of Colombia by interacting with its different faces, from the city of Medellín to the villages nestled in the green mountains. We will start by visiting the symbolic places of eastern Antioquia and end with a few days of rest on the Caribbean Sea or in the warm west of the region (depending on the dates), including days of volunteering in newly established youth centers and missions in the poorest villages affected by past guerrilla warfare. We will meet people, stories of those who have lost everything: work, home, family, and friends, and who, despite this, have decided to stand up and move forward with their heads held high, rebuilding their homes and their towns; people who did not give up, who started over, who love life and do not want to give it up.
